“Following my participation in a practical demonstration of the Glove I can say without hesitation that this would be an absolute game changer in the personal protection of both emergency services and the public they protect.

 

After serving as a Prison Officer in High Security Prisons for 25 years I have first-hand experience of how dangerous violent situations can be and can escalate to.   Sadly, as the father of a Police Officer that was murdered on duty, I have also experienced how these violent situations can ultimately end.

 

In the incident where we lost Nicola alongside her colleague, Fiona, there was approximately 29/30 seconds that we know where Nicola’s colleague managed to draw her taser and discharge it in an attempt to disarm the individual.  Who knows how the incident would have played out if they had been wearing one of these gloves and during that 29/30 they had managed to apply it?

 

I’d like to think that it would have given them enough time to disarm and restrain the person because having personally experienced the effectiveness of the glove, I can categorically say it is very very effective!”
