Our Team:

At the heart of our service are two exceptional professionals:

Former Police Officer with 30 Years of Service: Our team includes a seasoned former police officer with three decades of experience serving communities. With a deep understanding of law enforcement procedures and a commitment to public safety, our officer brings invaluable expertise to every situation.

Experienced Medic Trained in Mental Health: Alongside our veteran police officer, we have a skilled and compassionate medic specially trained in mental health crisis intervention. Equipped with extensive medical knowledge and a keen understanding of psychological first aid, our medic is dedicated to providing compassionate care to those in need.

Our Approach:

The Mental Health Support Response Team operates with efficiency, compassion, and professionalism. When a mental health emergency call comes in, our team springs into action, responding swiftly in a marked response car. As both members are blue light trained, they can navigate emergency situations with ease, ensuring a rapid and effective response.

Our Goal:

Our primary objective is to intervene in mental health incidents promptly and effectively, reducing the burden on traditional emergency services. By providing dedicated mental health support, we aim to de-escalate situations, offer guidance and support to individuals in distress, and ultimately prevent the need for further emergency intervention and assisting with the already heavy demands on their services.

How We Work:

Upon arrival at the scene of a mental health incident, our team assesses the situation with care and precision. Drawing on their combined expertise, they work collaboratively to provide immediate support and assistance to those in crisis. If the situation is deemed critical, our team can request additional emergency services, ensuring that individuals receive the comprehensive care they need.
